Media Background
PROFILE
With 16+ years working in Television and Digital Branded Content, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing something you've created hit the airwaves.
Having learnt everything from the ground up with my first day of work experience in 2006 on a scripted comedy drama, to now Senior Producing unscripted for both Television and in the Digital first spaces. Ultimately, I love a good story, normally told by an authentic storyteller, and all I ever want is the chance of telling them to the world!

What have I been up to in Broadcast TV?
Location fixing for an Irish production company in London.
Senior Producing some live output for BBC Glastonbury, including GFX, audio cues and light vision mixing.
Plus a few stints in reality as a Senior Producer, working on The Only Way is Essex shooting in Thailand and Essex; then returning to Lime Pictures to work on Geordie Shore for Paramount+, shooting in Cyprus and Newcastle. These involved working with some tricky personalities, maximising content, being highly organised, and working with large crews of around 100. Always switched on to be across all the moving parts and in a hybrid gallery & fixed rig set up, plus PSC crews. Various responsibilities from being first stop for all things cast – anything from sorting out schedule clashes, making sure the cast turned up on time and being across story.
Some highlights include:
Series Producing the third instalment of BBC fact-ents series – “Beauty Queen and Single”, for BBC Three & BBC NI where we take image conscious beauty queens, strip them back of all their make-up and send them on blind dates without a scrap of make-up on. Can they learn to love themselves as well as finding the match of their dreams? Covering all bases, from Casting – Production including set builds with the additional new twists we’re adding to shake up the format. This was my second run Series Producing with Sony Pictures Television backed indie – Stellify Media.
** My series was nominated for a Royal Television Society NI Award 2023**
Just before that - Series Producing on the first helping of the BBC’s latest culinary competition addition - “Farm to Feast: Best Menu Wins”, where 7 amateur home cooks battle it out to become this year's champion. Shooting in a castle in rural Northern Ireland with a full crew of 40 across multiple depts and working with the execs and commissioner on fine tuning the format and getting my teeth fully into shaping the first series. In charge of all pre-production, inc. running orders, scripting, set, look and feel of the series and production in our large set, plus all VTs over covid and producing our talent on the ground, inc. our presenter, UK icon - Eamonn Holmes OBE. All whilst delivering to an incredibly tight budget - we really did achieve a huge amount. I love crafting a new format to help reach its potential as a first series to make its mark and create its identity. Out on BBC One.
It was the highest rated show in its Saturday slot (bar one week where Wimbledon beat us) since it started to TX, UK wide and is returning for a second series.
Prior to this, I was the Series Producer on “Barbershop for Bald Men” - a one off BBC doc all about male hair loss. From Pre-Production and casting on a very tight turn around, to self-shooting and producing on location – I had to find 3 great guys who would be willing to go on TV and not only share their very personal hair loss story to the world, but also going through our hair replacement system where we shave what little hair they had left, and attach a hair piece to see if they become their former confident selves. Most importantly of all, it’s about giving them back their choice, to either embrace the bald, or turn back the clock to their dream hair from the past. A doc with a slight anthropological perspective on what their hair and its subsequent loss means to them.
Also coming to you with international shooting experience too – setting up & filming fact-ent shows in France, shooting pilots in Switzerland, shooting & setting up shooting across the world in multiple countries around the world from the US to Shanghai; to recently a mid-size crew with 40 Danish extras filming a branded content film out in Copenhagen for Swedish architectural giant SWECO - I’m very familiar with the headache of visas/carnets/fixer/content!
A confident self-shooter on the SONY FS7, FS5, C300, C100, XF305, XF105, EX3, PMW-200, 5D and 7D shooting interviews, voxes, sequences and 1st & 2nd Camera for broadcast. No stranger to a one pager, I also come with development experience, including pitching under my own label, with plenty of ideas still to chat about!
Finally, I come with good references and always with a smile; If you'd like to know more about me, please don't hesitate to drop me an line at any time.
CASTING
Probably one of my best skills, is my relationships with people. I pride myself in maintaining duty of care to the contributors we find to ensure that they are properly looked after. After all, it's a huge amount of trust they're placing in our hands, and some people quite rightly have a tendency to be sceptical at first.
Having worked at the fantastic October Films for 8 months in the in-house Casting Dept. - honing in my international casting skills, working on both US and UK developments, commissioned and commercial projects. Involving shooting sizzles for character led docs & formats, edit and story producing.
I've been doing casting for all the major broadcasters - directly for BBC & ITV, plus multiple of indies for both TV and multiple high profile Commercials.
DEVELOPMENT
No stranger to a one pager, history - having been working in development at various stages over my career, from Monkey Kingdom (part of NBCUniversal) working up and dreaming ideas for them on a few different concepts that they had in the pipeline, also, having free reign dreaming my up my own fantastic adventure series creating the concept and then into the feasibility, compatibility, logistics and understanding the process of creating an huge international adventure survival series based on the sea, to be played around the world.
I was also lucky enough to shoot and cut together a taster tape that was pitched with high profile talent attached as part of my time there. I’ve also worked in Sky’s in-house development team a few years ago which included filming in Switzerland, and London's incredible Brick Lane.
Since then, i’ve been working hard on my own formats and pitching them getting through the various rounds with comm eds to get ideas off the ground!
No stranger to a unit base, I started my career working on a few film sets. Initially as an extra when I was 16 to see how it all worked.
Then finally, making the jump and working as a Production Runner on a new film distributed by Universal - 'Wild Bill' I learnt so much under the eyes of Tim Cole, Sam Tromans and Dexter Fletcher - the Director.
I've also worked on a few short films and currently in the process of writing my own.
